About this file
This document is an Addendum 1 for a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by Atlanta Beltline Inc. (ABI) for a Commercial District Activation Strategy. The RFP addendum, dated October 22, 2025, specifies a close date of Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST, with proposals to be submitted through the Bonfire Portal. The addendum addresses a specific question regarding potential conflicts of interest for consultants who may be working with multiple business associations.
The key focus of the addendum is to clarify the conditions under which a consultant can simultaneously work on this ABI contract and maintain other business association engagements. The document outlines that consultants are not required to terminate existing agreements, but must ensure no duplication of work, avoid double-charging for services, maintain transparency in roles, and treat all ABI-related information as confidential. The addendum emphasizes that the scope of work must be distinct and independently executed, with no overlap in billing or deliverables, to avoid conflicts of interest.

Schedule Section:
• Close date: Wed Oct 29 2025 4:00:00 EST in Bonfire Portal o https://beltline.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities
Question/Answer Section:
1. Question: I am currently working with several business associations as a consultant. I would like to clarify that if I am awarded this contract, I would have to terminate my agreements with those associations to ensure no conflict of interest. Is that correct? If not, can you please provide details how I could continue to work with ABI on this project as well as individual business associations without a conflict of interest.
Answer: You would not be required to terminate your existing agreements with business associations in order to be eligible for this contract. However, to avoid any conflict of interest, it is essential that:
• There is no duplication of work between this contract and your existing engagements.
• You do not double charge for the same services or deliverables.
• You maintain transparency in your roles and responsibilities across all engagements.
• All information related to ABI must be treated as confidential by the selected vendor and must not be shared with any of its client business associations or other external parties, except as explicitly allowed by the scope of work.
As long as the scope of work under this contract is distinct and independently executed, and there is no overlap in billing or deliverables, you may continue working with other business associations while fulfilling the obligations of this contract.
