About this file
This is Addendum No. 2 issued by Maryland Environmental Service (MES) for the aerial application of herbicide at dredged material facilities operated by MES across various counties in Maryland, Project ID No. 1-26-5-13-5. The addendum is dated August 21, 2025, and modifies the original contract documents for this procurement. Bids are due September 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM, and prospective bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms and include any cost impacts in their proposals.
The addendum addresses one question from potential bidders regarding whether MES would consider aerial application using fixed-wing aircraft as an alternative method while meeting all other project scope requirements. MES has definitively responded that they will not be considering aerial application using fixed-wing aircraft as an alternative at this time. The addendum is signed by Qieon D. Graham, Procurement Administrator, and becomes part of the contract documents upon which the final contract will be based.
