About this file

This is a delivery schedule memorandum from the Federal Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Complex Coleman, Florida, outlining four distinct delivery schedule options for vendors who have been awarded contracts for the third quarter (April 1 – June 30, 2026). Schedule #1 requires a single shipment delivery between April 1-15, 2026. Schedule #2 mandates two equal shipments with the first delivery between April 1-15, 2026, and the second between May 1-15, 2026. Schedule #3 divides orders into three equal shipments with deliveries scheduled for April 1-15, May 1-15, and June 1-15, 2026. Schedule #4 requires weekly deliveries split into 13 shipments, with produce due each Monday and bread, milk, and eggs due each Tuesday, beginning April 6, 2026, and concluding by June 30, 2026, with delivery hours between 7:30 AM and 12:00 PM. All deliveries must be on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to strict performance standards.

The memorandum establishes mandatory compliance requirements for all vendors, including temperature specifications (34-40 degrees Fahrenheit for non-frozen perishables and 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below for frozen items), palletization and wrapping of all items, and conditional receipt allowance for three days of examination and testing. Vendors are subject to performance issues notation if delivery schedules are not adhered to or if items do not meet specifications, with potential rejection or re-award to the next low bidder. The government reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities with one week's notice. Federal holidays observed during this period are Memorial Day (May 11, 2026) and Juneteenth (June 19, 2026), during which no deliveries are permitted. Vendors must submit all invoices by mail or email, not by fax, and should contact the Food Service Warehouse at 352-689-3050/3052/3165/3051/3056 with questions.
