About this file

This document is an Addendum to Quote Request 39405 for the Supply and Place Sod on L74N and L74W Levees, issued by the St. Johns River Water Management District in Florida. The addendum clarifies that the deadline for submitting responses remains 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. It also addresses a question regarding access to the weirs, stating that the district is regrading the levee to allow tractor trailers to travel across, so no additional equipment or labor will be necessary. Respondents are instructed to acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their submittal.

The related state and local contract opportunity is for the Supply and Place Sod on L74N and L74W Levees in Putnam County, Florida. The district is seeking a contractor to provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to install Argentine Bahia sod on the regraded slope. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible respondent for each project location (L74N and L74W).

SUBJECT: Addendum 1 to Quote Request 39405 – Supply and Place Sod on L74N and L74W Levees

As a result of a recent inquiry, the following clarification/change is provided for your information. Please make all appropriate changes to your quote documents.

1. The time and date for the submittal of responses remains the same: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

2. Question: Is there any way to add rock to these inline at the weirs? Fully loaded and possibly empty tractor trailer will not be able to travel past these, or do we price for additional equipment and labor to get sod to the installed location?

Answer: The district is currently regrading this levee and intends to reslope the access to and from the weirs such that a tractor trailer can travel across. No additional equipment or labor should be necessary.

NOTE: Please acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in your submittal.
