About this file
The document is an Addendum to a Quote Request for Pressure Cleaning and Water Sealing Services of Recreational Structures in the South Central Region of Florida. The South Florida Water Management District is issuing this Addendum to provide clarifications and changes to the original Quote Request 39384. The project will involve using commercial grade high-pressure equipment to clean and seal the structures, facilities, and associated infrastructure in the region. The project is a one-time service, not an annual contract. The current project budget is $40,000, and the work will be awarded to a single vendor for each region. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for January 24, 2024, and the new bid due date is January 31, 2024.
The Addendum provides responses to several questions, including that there is no incumbent contract currently in place, the services were previously bid in 2021 for the Central Region at $17,620, the contractor will be responsible for both cleaning and sealing services, and the work can be scheduled in blocks as long as it does not interfere with public events. The specific sealer required is Thompson Water Seal, and all wood structures will need to be sealed.
