About this file
This document is a Packaging Requirements Report for two federal stock numbers related to a federal contract opportunity.
The report specifies the packaging requirements for the purchase of the AN/PLM-4 Standardized Electronics Module (NSN 5963-01-508-8776EW) and the Battery Charger (NSN 6130-01-509-0564EW) in support of the AN/PLM-4 Radar Signal Simulator. The packaging must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1 and MIL-STD-129 standards, including marking requirements. The items must be packaged in debarked, heat-treated wooden containers, pallets, and lumber. Packaging specialists are identified, and additional requirements are provided.
The related federal contract opportunity is a sole source solicitation (FA8522-24-Q-0001) for the purchase of these items from L3Harris Technologies, Inc., the sole authorized provider. The government does not possess the internal drawings or engineering data required to obtain these items from another source. The contract is in support of the Air Force Sustainment Center.
