Attachment 1 – Answers to Technical Questions - 36C77625Q0033 – WLA EUL Support Services

1. When it comes to past performance, will non-government past performance be acceptable?

Answer: All forms of Past Performance are acceptable.

2. Is there an anticipated start date for this contract?

Answer: The VA expects to award in January 2025.

3. How much travel is expected during the period of this contract? To Los Angeles? To Washington, DC?

Answer: Occasional Travel to job/project site may be expected and to the project location (VA

Medical Center, West Los Angeles, CA) as specified under Paragraph 2 of Section A, General

Information of the PWS.

Travel to Washington, D.C., or to other VA locations, is included under Paragraph K of the PWS, but highly unlikely it be required.

4. Is there a recommendation for “Key Personnel”?

Answer: Per paragraph M, Contractor Experience Requirements –Key personnel are skilled experienced professionals and/or technical personnel essential for successful Contractor accomplishment of the VA requirements outlined in the PWS. Only resumes for key personnel (professional and/or technical) must be submitted to the CO and COR. Resumes must outline experience, demonstrating the proposed key personnel have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work outlined in the PWS. Work/tasks outlined in the PWS are typically accomplished by key positions/roles such as: Program Manager, Project Manager, Senior Engineer and Project Engineer. However, titles do not need to be exact, but experience must translate.
