About this file
This document contains responses to questions received regarding a pre-solicitation notice for diagnostic imaging center expansion design services at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center. The notice increases the page limit for SF330 submissions from 25 to 35 pages to accommodate resumes for 21 required key positions and disciplines. The submission deadline is extended to November 27, 2023 while the cutoff for questions remains November 3. # Question/RFI Response Amendment
No.
Please consider increasing the number of pages that are allowed for the SF330 submission. Providing an SF330 Part E resume for each of the key positions and disciplines required for the project would take 21 pages, leaving only 4 pages for the rest of the submission.
The Pre-Solicitation Notice is changed to increase the page limitation for the SF330 submission from 25 pages to 35 pages. Please see the revised notice attached. 2
Please confirm that the due date for submission of the SF330 SOQs is 9:00 am PT on November 17, 2023.
The SF-330 submission deadline has been extended to 11/27/2023. The cutoff of 11/3/2023 for questions remains unchanged. Responses to questions received will be provided after the stated dealine. Reference the "5. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS" section of the Pre-Solicitation Notice. 1
I was curious if Radiology Xray / Rad rooms are included in the scope of this project? If they are, will solicitation be routed through NAC consolidation process?
The modalities that will be included in the expansion building will be CT, XRAY, Ultrasound and MRI. The healthcare management technology acquisitions would be handled through the NAC. 2
Factor 2 – Professional Qualifications lists “LEED Consultant” as a required key position. As LEED certification can be associated with most design professionals (architecture, MEP engineers, etc.), can the LEED Consultant be dual hatted with one of the other key disciplines?
Yes, the LEED Consultant can be dual hatted with another key discipline.
The resume for the individual that will be serving dual roles must provide licensing/accredidation information for both disciplines. 2
Factor 2 – Professional Qualifications lists “Physical Security Specialist” and “Security Specialist” as required key positions. Can the government please provide clarification on what the difference between these two positions are?
The Physical Security Specialist develops security policy and design to ensure the physical safety employees and patients. The Physical Security Specialist will ensure security measures such as locks, card access, cameras and safety measures align with the existing infrastrucure of the Medical Facility.
The Security Specialist will develop, implement, and monitor policies that revolve around informaton secuirty; such as the protection of documents and materials that occurs in a Diagnostics Imaging department. 2
Factor 2 – Professional Qualifications lists 21 required key positions/disciplines that we are to submit resumes for, but the Submission Requirements restrict the SF330 submission to a total of 25 pages. With Section F being 3 pages, this only leaves us 1 page for the cover page, sections A-C, D, G, and H. Will the government please increase the page limit to allow room for the remaining sections?
Please reference the response to Question #1 above for page limitation increase. 2
