B.3 STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) facilities in Dallas, TX; Leavenworth, KS; Tucson, AZ; Chelmsford, MA; Hines, IL; and Murfreesboro, TN process an average of 35 – 45 thousand prescription parcels a day for shipment to Veterans – at each facility. Each Parcel can contain 1 to 3 Rx Bottles and pre-package med supplies. Each package requires a Patient Centric Label (PCL). This PCL IDIQ is an important part of CMOP operations. Failure to supply labels can hinder production and delivery time to the Veteran. The PCL’s ensure patient safety as well as help with proper shipping. To work as intended, PCL’s must be tested and approved to work in CMOP facilities. The Vendor will provide Patient Centric Labels 2x5.5 with Temporary Adhesive; shipping labels, production labels, printer cleaning cards and printer head replacements for Intermec Printers as outlined below.
