About this file
This Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan outlines performance standards and monitoring methods for a contract to provide local reference lab testing services for the Fargo VA Health Care System. Key services required include ensuring safety and integrity of specimens in transit, accurate billing reflected in invoices, sample pick-up by courier as outlined in the contract, and accurate revised reports. Performance will be monitored through methods such as direct observation of invoice accuracy, periodic inspections of turnaround time, and review of any validated user complaints. Contractors will be rated on exceeding, meeting, or not meeting standards and acceptable quality levels. Documentation of both acceptable and unacceptable performance is addressed. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for offsite STAT referral lab services for the Fargo VAHCS under solicitation number 36C26323Q0856.
