Can you please confirm if we have to input unit quantity (1) in column F, or is there any other sample quantity that the government wants the offerors to use? Please provide clarity regarding the quantities that are to be used, when preparing the pricing sheet.
An attached yearly estimate is attached. No, you do not have to put quantity in column (F).
11. Page 6 : "All fixed and removable dental laboratory items shall be completed within fifteen (15) working days from the date of shipment from the VA to the date of delivery to the VA EXCEPT:
Repairs, rebases, and relines must be able to be completed by a local lab within one (1) working day when requested.
Repairs, rebases, and relines must be able to be completed by the contract lab within five (5) working days when requested.”
We prefer the 5 lab working days option. We would be willing to find a local lab
(per instructions on page 15, paragraph 6) if the 1 day repairs, rebases and relines are still requested. Will this be acceptable to address 1 working day repairs/relines with local lab subcontract after the award?

12. Page 7: Custom Implant Abutment Wings – Please clarify this product in more detail.
With the introduction of custom-made abutments designed by computers, dentists can now give their patients better accuracy and precision during the implant process. Custom dental implant abutments can make up for offset or angled implant placement while preserving anatomical shape. These abutments provide more accuracy since they are custom made to fit the tissue crest.
Custom abutments can be manufactured from gold or zirconia to create a better match for the teeth. They are suitable for aesthetic purposes, which means if you are missing a front tooth, the dentist will likely suggest custom abutments. They are identical to the patient’s dentition, even with gum recession.
13. On the excel price list is asking for BiteSoft on line 65. - Please clarify this product in more detail.
