Question and Answers

We have a candidate for the Junior Medical Physicist position who is “board eligible”, but due to COVID, has had to reschedule the exam to become board certified. Does this position have to be board certified upon contract award or could the person meet the requirement say within 6 months of contract award?
For this requirement we are asking that all key personnel be board certified prior to working on this contract.
I am hoping to find out if there is an incumbent contractor currently performing these services, if similar services have been performed in the past, or if this is a new requirement.
If this is a follow-on requirement, could you please provide the previous contract or task order number?
This will be a follow-on to a current contract. The current contract number is VA263-15-C-0107.
Would key personnel names and Attachment 2 (Background Investigation Procedure and Documents) need to be completed/listed upon submission if 100% of the current employees are expected to remain onsite?
We would need the names of the key personnel upon submission.
Attachment 2 does not need to be completed / submitted upon submission. Page 85 has some more information regarding the attachments.
But to your point, if awarded, we would not need to background/credential these personnel as they are already working at the facility have clearances.
Is this a pre-existing contract with incumbent employees that would remain on-site?
This will be a follow-on to a current contract. The current contract, VA263-15-C-0107, was awarded to Qurie Physics Services, Inc., out of Mendota, Minnesota.
To ensure continuity of clinic personnel, would it be possible to get the contact information of the current employees in these positions?
The current contractor for this requirement is Qurie Physics Services, Inc., out of Mendota Minnesota.
We ask that you contact them directly regarding any specific information on their employees.
With respect to the Technical Proposal, section E.8 52.212.2, Factor 1 section 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 (page 92- 94): Does the Technical Proposal also need to include the technical requirements listed in section 4.5,
4.6 and 4.7 (page 25-35)?
Yes, both areas would need to be addressed. We ask that your technical proposal address entire PWS as well as the Evaluation Factors.
In accordance with Technical Sub Factor 1.5 (page 94): Regarding the information pertaining to
Integrated Medical Physics, LLC financial ability, specifically which documents, if any, are required to be submitted with the proposal? Are there any additional financial documents needed that are not included in SAMS?
We are not asking for any specific documents here. We are asking you provide information that addresses your company’s financial stability. What you submit is entirely up to you. Generally, quality over quantity is preferred here. Basically, we’re just asking if your company is financially stable.
