Do not include pricing information; it will not be evaluated. The Government will not pay for any information submitted under this notice. This notice is to assist the VA in the determination of sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has a future requirement for Nephrology Services (physician component only) at the Black Hills VA Health Care System located in Fort Meade, SD; VAMC Fort Meade Campus; 113 Comanche Road; Fort Meade, SD 57741 or Hot Springs Campus; 500 N. 5th Street; Hot Springs, SD or Rapid City CBOC; 3625 5th Street; Rapid City, SD 57701. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621111 (Offices of Physicians) (Size Standard: $12 million). The Government contemplates awarding a firm-fixed price contract resulting from the future solicitation. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and technical capability of potential sources for this requirement.

The Contractor’s physicians’ care shall cover the range of Nephrology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) http://www.asn-online.org/education/training/fellows/ educational-resources.aspx#Guidelines The Contractor shall propose a minimum of 2 key personnel to be credentialed and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contract. The VA seeks to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (HUBZone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged or service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NAICS Code 621111, Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists); size standard of $12 Million.

Responses to this Sources Sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions and developing a potential procurement strategy. After review of responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the FedBizOpps website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond directly to any corresponding solicitation by submitting a proposal.

Interested parties should download and complete the market research questionnaire. The response end date for the market research questionnaire is 9 AM CST February 10, 2020. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written requests for the PWS will be accepted. All questions regarding the PWS may be submitted by emailing Contract Specialist Matthew Dale at matthew.dale3@va.gov. Email the completed market research questionnaire to the same address.

Nephrology Services requirement-Black Hills VA Health Care System

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10. It is anticipated a single solicitation will be issued for the Nephrology Services requirement at the Black Hills VA Health Care System located in Fort Meade, SD. The Government contemplates awarding a firm-fixed price contract resulting from the future solicitation. The service requirement will be performed at the VABHHCS in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement.
