About this file

This is an Attachment A document outlining the salient characteristics for a Refrigerated Lab Centrifuge procurement by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 (VISN 22) for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System.

This document serves as a specification attachment to a Request for Information (RFI) and sources sought notice (Solicitation Number 36C26226Q1389), issued solely for information and planning purposes to identify qualified potential sources. The procurement seeks a refrigerated lab centrifuge that meets minimum salient characteristics specified in this attachment. Responses to this RFI are encouraged and permitted under FAR 15.201(e); however, responses are not considered offers and cannot form binding contracts. The government intends to use submitted information to inform future acquisition decisions and may publish a formal solicitation announcement following review of responses. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 334516 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Interested sources must demonstrate their capability to provide supplies meeting the specified salient characteristics, with the understanding that the identified information is descriptive rather than restrictive and indicates the quality level required for satisfactory performance.
