The vendor must report all FDA recalls, removals, modifications, and safety notices within 48 hours to the Contracting Officer, facility point of contact, and VHA Product Recall Office. STATEMENT OF WORK

1. CONTRACT TITLE Non-Magnetic MRI IV Pump Systems

2. GENERAL SCOPE

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) VA Long Beach Healthcare System MRI department has a requirement to procure Quad Non-Magnetic IV Pump System.

3. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

The contractor shall provide and be responsible for technical assistance, development, and generation for final specifications.

4. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS

4.1. Non-magnetic MRI IV pump system design with 4 pump remote control and that can be transported easily from ICU or inpatient floor to MRI and back without the need of transferring IV set from one pump to another.

4.2. Multi-colored LED lights in the pump door and door handle guide the clinician for a simple IV tubing set-up.

4.3. Straightforward animated graphics and input borders guide the user through each programming screen, making it an easy to follow and comfortable programming process for new or infrequent users of the MRI pump.

4.4. Intelligent design which the docking spine makes the smart pump even smarter. When 1, 2, 3 or 4 pumps are docked onto a spine they all act as one, sharing power and a remote control. Flexibility is maximized by detaching a pump, enabling intrahospital transport.

4.5. The 3870 features a modern Drug Error Reduction System (DERS) drug library solution, allowing a single infusion pump to accommodate multiple patient care areas with a comprehensive dose and concentration unit list. These features allow a single pump to operate independently to deliver anesthetics or to be combined with additional 3870 pumps to operate as a four-channel IV infusion pump system for critical care patients.

4.6. Non-magnetic MRI IV pump must be able to infuse medications within the MRI room and maintains the same standard of care experienced in the ICU.

4.7. Additional Sidecar Channel that can offers ways to deliver multiple IV fluids, safely and accurately next to the MRI system.

4.8. Dose Error Reduction System Touch screen color display

4.9. Wireless Remote. Enable clinicians or nurses to titrate or bolus medication with full operation from the MRI control room without stopping in the middle of an MRI scan.

4.10. Ability to integrate SpO2 monitoring capability when transporting patients to and from MRI.

4.11. Must be MRI compatible, portable, and transportable. Must be able to connect IV from patient floor for continuity of Care’ During Inter-Departmental Transports.

4.12. MRI compatible 3.0T and up (Non-magnetic IV pump system).

5. Installation/implementation and Training

After delivery of the new premium point of care ultrasound system, the vendor shall:

5.1. Delivery must be with ninety (60) days of ordering.

5.2. Complete installation and go live must be completed within sixty (60) of delivery.

5.3. The vendor shall ensure all equipment delivered is fully operational to manufacturer’s specification and free from defect.

5.4. The vendor shall provide delivery, set up, and technical support for clinical staff and clinician training for use the system.

5.5. The vendor shall report all recalls, removals, modifications and safety notices from the manufacturer, distributor and FDA, and provide immediate notices (within 48 hours) to the Contracting Officer and the facility point of contact and the VHA Product Recall Office for any notices identified for medical devices.

5.6. The vendor shall coordinate with VA Supply Chain Management or facility appropriate contact agree upon delivery day and arrival to the facility.

The vendor shall provide digital format operation manual include the care, handling, set up, and cleaning instruction of the mobile and multi-modality guidance intravascular imaging system
