About this file

This is Amendment Three to a solicitation for Portable Home Sleep Apnea Testing services issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 (VISN 22), Mesa Annex. The amendment responds to additional questions submitted by offerors regarding the requirement.

The solicitation seeks Type III Home Sleep Apnea Test (HSAT) devices with a minimum of seven channels for use across all veteran populations without limitations. The requirement specifies 3,000 HSATs for the base year and 3,000 HSATs for each option year. Historical volume data from the prior contract (Itamar Medical, Inc., 36C25821F0073, July 2021–December 2024) totaled 4,060 units across the base period and three option periods. Physician interpretation costs are excluded from the pricing requirement, as VA sleep medicine providers will perform interpretations internally. WatchPAT devices are not considered compliant with the Type III device requirements. All questions must be submitted by June 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM MST, and all offers must be submitted via email to Felicia Simpson at Felicia.Simpson@va.gov by June 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM MST. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of all amendments and submit all required documentation in Section E; failure to do so will result in rejection without evaluation. Contractor must sign clause 852.219-75 regarding VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting.
