3. Background.

A service contract is requested for our gentleMACS Octo Dissociator, serial number 03598 (GMOH3598). The Doherty Lab uses this machine to mechanically break down mouse lung tissue, to complete later analysis on present immune cell populations. The use of this machine is critical in our protocol, since we have no alternative ways to break down the lung tissue. Without this machine in working condition, our research has been completely halted, and we are unable to perform any further experiments. It is crucial that this machine be in working order for our lab to be able to continue our research.

Parts shall be new and compatible with existing equipment. All replaced parts shall become property of the contractor for them to dispose or recycle as they see fit.
