SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS
1. Background The Interventional Radiology (IR) / Operating Room (OR) department of Phoenix VA Healthcare System requires a Contrast Injection System to perform controlled delivery of radiopaque contract media in interventional imaging procedures.
2. Salient Characteristics The Contrast Injection System:
· Must have a clearly visible and digital user interface.
· Must have a syringe that provides a clear view of the contrast.
· Must come with a flexible articulating arm, which allows the injector to go where it needs to go—even around corners.
· Must include a pedestal mount that is mobile and maneuverable on wheels with brake stops to prevent unwanted movement.
· Must provide real-time control of single and variable flow rates.
