About this file
This is a Sources Sought Notice (RFI) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office in Long Beach, California, seeking potential vendors for a power supply for the VA Albuquerque Healthcare System. The specific product required is a GE Healthcare Lambda Main Power Supply (Part Number 5205054-5), compatible with a GE Logiq 9 Ultrasound machine, with detailed technical specifications including a universal AC input of 100V-240V, 50,000-hour mean time between failure, 73% power efficiency, and power factor correction. The RFI targets businesses under NAICS code 339112 with a size standard of 1,000 employees and seeks comprehensive information from potential vendors, including capabilities, business size status, manufacturing/distribution details, compliance with federal contracting rules, and product origins.
Responses are due by June 13, 2025, at 4:00 PM PST, to be submitted via email to Emiljan.Golemi@va.gov. The RFI is explicitly not a solicitation but a market research tool to identify potential qualified sources, with responses to be used for planning future acquisition decisions. Vendors are asked to provide detailed information including capabilities statements, business size representations, distribution channels, compliance with subcontracting limitations, Buy American Act conformance, lead times, FDA clearances, federal contract holdings, and general pricing information. The government emphasizes that this is an information-gathering exercise and that responses do not constitute an invitation to a bidders list or guarantee future solicitation.
