About this file

This document is an Amendment to Solicitation (Standard Form 30) for solicitation 36C26225Q0498, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 22 in Tucson, Arizona. The amendment provides detailed responses to vendor questions regarding a new surveillance camera installation project for the Yuma, AZ Community Based Outpatient Clinic. Key details include replacing an existing camera system with a new 8-channel NVR recorder (model R2-IP8CFCLK) and 4 new 4-megapixel cameras, using existing cable pathways and conduits, with PoE-powered cameras and 110vac power requirements.

The project requires the contractor to remove old equipment and provide it to local staff for disposal, with a 30-day video storage requirement and a 1-year warranty. The system will be stand-alone, not integrated with the VA network, and have no specific network or cybersecurity requirements. The awarded vendor will be granted Communication Closet access through OI&T, with an overview of installation to be provided to VA staff. The total cable requirement is for 5 cable runs across 4 existing and 1 new location, using 1,000 feet of Orange Category 6A wire.
