About this file

This document is a solicitation amendment for a federal contract opportunity to provide bio-hazardous and sharps waste removal services for various VA healthcare facilities in Arizona and New Mexico.

The amendment adds new contract line items (CLINs) to the original solicitation for 12-month option periods, in addition to the initial 3-month base period. The work involves furnishing labor and equipment to provide complete and appropriate disposal for regulated medical waste, reusable sharps waste, trace chemotherapy waste, non-RCRA and RCRA pharmaceutical waste, and non-RCRA and RCRA chemical waste across multiple VA healthcare facilities and associated clinics. Estimated waste weights are provided in an attachment. The performance work is set-aside for certified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. An incumbent is currently performing these services under Contract No. 36C25819C0025. The amended solicitation extends the offer due date to June 18, 2024.
