Statement of Work 5/23/22
Contract Title. LLVAMC Brightsign Video Wall
1. Background:
a. The Department of Veterans’ Affairs at Loma Linda CA proposes to install a LG Magnit Micro LED video wall (or equal) at the far end of the main lobby to display information relevant to the medical facility. The wall is approximately 249” and will be controlled by hospital staff in the medical center.
2. Scope:
a. Contractor is to install the display, Brightsign controller, and Q-SYS control components necessary to complete this procurement.
b. Contractor will create and install content and software per the VA’s requirements in meetings.
c. Contractor will NOT provide switches, routers, plan for wireless access locations, purchase wireless access points, install access points, certify access points, nor guarantee FIPS compliance of anything being installed.
d. Contractor will provide product management, project management and onsite engineer support.
e. Contractor is responsible for a turn-key solution with no hardware, materials, equipment, or software to be provided by the Department of Veterans’ affairs.
f. Use of the local cabling standards dated is required for acceptance of this project.
3. Specific Tasks:
a. Contractor will order and procure a single LSAB-V294C 294” Diagonal LG Magnit DVLED display (or equal) for installation in the medical center.
b. Contractor will install the procured display on the East wall of the medical center first floor lobby across from the entrance doors.
c. Contractor will procure and install an audio-video cabinet designed to hold and containing the Q-Sys touch panel control system and video wall processor.

d. Contractor will use Brightsign Media Players (or equal) to transfer the content from the server to the display, ensuring compatibility with similar units throughout the facility.
e. Contractor will work with Public Affairs, Medical Media, and Interior Design to create, design, and select appropriate content for the display to convey important information and emergency content.
f. Vendor is responsible for all system design, setup, and programming, with instructions to turn over a completed, fully functional system prior to completion of the contract and final payment.
g. Any structured cabling installed will conform to the standards as outlined below:
i. Intra-building fiber will be smoke-rated OM4 per the local cabling guidelines section 2.2.A.4(a-g) and terminated to LC connectors.
ii. Copper cabling will be plenum-rated CAT6A terminated to IEEE 568-A guidelines IAW local cabling standards section 2.1.B.3. Further, cabling will be U/FTP (unshielded foiled twisted-pair) with no cross-divider or partition within the cable.
h. CAT6A cabling installed for end user devices (terminated at wall plates) will follow the red/blue/yellow standards as outlined in the local cabling standards 2.1.B.3, and in Diagram 1 of the same document.
i. Copper cabling will be terminated to CAT6A modular jacks capable of accepting and functioning with other modular (i.e.: RJ11) plugs without damage to the jack.
Data jacks will consist of one each yellow, grey, ivory at each data face plate.
j. Vendor will utilize Tripp Lite 4-Port Quad Outlet RJ45 Universal Keystone Jack Face Plate UNSPSC 43201612 or approved equivalent, with three CAT6A U/FTP cables (red/blue/yellow) terminating to CAT6A keystones (yellow/grey/ivory) and the fourth port covered with a keystone blank. Data face plate will be electrical ivory.

k. Each face plate will have two labels. The top label on the plate will denote the plate’s sequence number (such labeling will be mirrored in the TR), and the bottom label will denote the TR room number. Examples are below:

l. Any data cabling will be tested and certified, with the certification documentation provided to the contracting officer’s representative to be kept on record.
