About this file

This document contains answers to questions submitted in response to solicitation number 36C26222Q0263 for fire alarm and fire monitoring maintenance services at the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, New York. Key details include that over and above repairs during the period of performance will utilize CLINs 0015, 1015, 2015, 3015, and 4015, with modifications typically awarded under the same PO number. Annual hands-on training for 10 individuals must provide 8 hours of training per individual. Inspections and documentation must meet the most current NFPA standards, not just TJC requirements. Annual fire hydrant inspections are completed in August to test flow rates and pressures. Networked fire alarm systems will continue to be tested according to the facility's established schedule rather than all at once.
