1. Can access be gained at 5AM in the morning?

Earliest access to area is 6:30AM.

2. Is there a previous contract? What is the current amount being paid for the services?

No, this is a new requirement. Previous vendor was being paid on-call via Government Purchase Card. This was not on a contract (if not true, please answer ). The approximate monthly charge was $1500 by a non-verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

3. The equipment that did not seem to work was the salt machine, as it relates to chlorine. Will the contract require the contract to repair this equipment ?

No. The equipment salt machine can be repaired under a separate transaction, that we expect to be paid by Government Purchase Card (GPC)

4. When was the last time the filter was changed?

The filter was last replaced 07/30/2015 and the grid were changed 07/30/2017.

5. In the walk through it was mentioned that an aseptic certification was needed. IT was not in the PSW/SOW.

No certification is needed. Only qualified vendors that have experience of cleaning and maintaining swimming pools and have known satisfactory performance. The basis for award shall be clarified. It is price only after responsible and responsive qualified vendors that have followed the RFQ instructions that will determine the selection for an award.

6. Any repairs outside of the scope will the contractor bill that separately?

Any out of scope repair work will be a separate transaction. The one-time job or similar type of work for repairs not within scope can be accomplished, preferably by a SDVOSB or VOSB that is qualified, and is in the best interest of the Government. Depending on some factors like how much it is, it can be paid by GPC (Government Purchase Card) or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).
