About this file

This is a Special Notice for a sole source contract award related to maintenance support services for BioMerieux laboratory equipment. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 21 (located in North Las Vegas, Nevada) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a base period plus four option years to BioMerieux for providing maintenance support services for BioMerieux hardware and software used by the Pathology & Lab Service at VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. The contracting office is accepting notifications of interest and capability from other firms within three calendar days of publication (by April 10, 2026, at 4:00 PM Pacific Time). Interested firms must submit responses via email to John Waldrip at john.waldrip@va.gov and must identify their business size and ownership status (large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), woman-owned, and U.S. or foreign ownership). The intended awardee is BioMerieux, located at 515 South Colorow Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84108-1248 (SAM UEI: HCNVCMEG9NL6; CAGE CODE: 4S002).
