About this file

This document is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation 36C26126Q0299, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 on February 24, 2026. The amendment extends the solicitation close date from February 25, 2026 at 12:00 PM PST to February 26, 2026 at 3:00 PM PST. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the new deadline through one of three methods: completing items 8 and 15 and returning copies to the issuing office, acknowledging receipt on each copy of the offer submitted, or submitting a separate letter or electronic communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers. Failure to acknowledge receipt by the specified deadline may result in rejection of the offer.

The amendment addresses one vendor question regarding estimated average volumes of narcotics requiring destruction and disposal at each Veterans Affairs site. The response indicates that volumes vary by location size: Chico, the smallest site, typically requires destruction of approximately 10 narcotics per visit; Mather, the largest site, averages around 50 per visit; and other sites generally have approximately 25 per visit. No other changes to the solicitation were made as a result of this amendment, and all terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain in full force and effect.
