About this file

This is a Sources Sought Notice for a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant services opportunity issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 at the VA San Francisco Health Care System. The solicitation (RFQ 36C26126Q0148) is seeking information from potential contractors to determine market capabilities, with responses required by 10:00 AM PST on 12/03/2025. The procurement will use NAICS code 561320 (Temporary Help Services) with a small business size standard of $34.0 Million.

Interested contractors must submit a detailed response addressing nine specific requirements, including company socioeconomic status, legal name, Unique Entity ID, point of contact, capabilities statement, relevant experience, similar project history, and subcontracting details. The government emphasizes compliance with subcontracting limitations, requiring small businesses to expend at least 50% of contract performance costs on their own personnel. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and are encouraged to verify veteran-owned small business (VOSB/SDVOSB) status. This is a preliminary market research effort and does not guarantee a subsequent solicitation or contract award.
