About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity related to the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS). The SOW outlines the requirements for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on a Cost per Test basis for Cepheid GeneXpert test systems, including analyzers, reagents, supplies, service, and maintenance. The contract period of performance is from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025, with four 1-year option periods.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Pre-Solicitation notice for a single-award, fixed-price IDIQ contract for Cepheid GeneXpert molecular reagents, analyzers, supplies, and service for the VAPIHCS. The contract will be established with Cepheid as the sole source provider, as they are the only manufacturer of the required products compatible with the existing GeneXpert analyzers. The applicable NAICS code is 325413 (In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing) and the FSC is 6550 (In Vitro Diagnostic Substances, Reagents, Test Kits and Sets). The Government is allowing potential offerors to provide written notice by May 14, 2024 if they believe they can meet the requirement, but a decision to compete the acquisition is at the Government's discretion.
