About this file

This document contains a justification and approval notice for a sole source contract award. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office awarded a contract to Circle Cardiovascular Imaging Inc. for Circle CVI software licenses and support services. The sole source justification cites the software's proprietary nature and the fact it uniquely meets the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System's needs for cardiac imaging diagnostics and research. The base year contract from June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024 is valued at $449,500 with four optional one-year extensions. Market research found no other software satisfies requirements and the OEM confirmed the software's proprietary status and lack of alternative distributors.
