About this file
This document contains responses to questions from offerors on a solicitation for architecture and engineering indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) master planning and study services for the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (VISN 21). The solicitation seeks proposals for multiple locations within VISN 21, which covers northern Nevada and central/northern California. The response date was extended to February 16, 2022 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time, with no further extensions anticipated. The document clarifies that while a font size of 9-point Arial is recommended, offerors may use an alternate font size if necessary. It also states that while a 6-page limit and 1 page maximum per project example is preferred, offerors may use up to 2 pages for examples if needed, as long as the overall 85-page proposal limit is followed.

**The new question deadline is February 11, 2022 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time. Please do not forward any further inquiries after that date, as there will be no response. If we respond to you then we must respond to all.
QUESTION #1:
New Requirement per Addendum 3:
For the entire SF330:
1. Use Font Type Ariel, Font Size 9 Request/Question:
This is quite an intensive reformatting undertaking of two nearly completed documents – we would like to respectfully request that this requirement is removed, or if this is not possible, can the due date be extended at least another five (5) working days or more?
Response: This is a recommendation for best practices based on information from the Army Corp of Engineers and is not a requirement, if you feel a different font and size will get your information across in the allowable space.
QUESTION #2:
New Requirement per Addendum 3:
Section F: 1. Limit example projects to a maximum of 6 projects. 2. Page limitation of Section F is 6 pages.
Request/Question:
There was no page limitation for the 6 required Section F projects in the original RFQ or Addendum 2 , we respectfully request that we be allowed to use more than 1 page per project when we feel it is necessary to cover required information, at times we have teaming (Section F, 25) that takes up 3/4 of a project page and it is unlikely we can provide enough information for those projects to adequately relay the breadth of our experience, as well as include the information required by your RFQ, in just one page. We respectfully request that this requirement be lifted (as long as we stay in the overall 85 page limit that was defined in Addendum #2).
Response: If you feel you need to go to 2 pages then do so, however, the preference is 1 page in honor of time whenever possible.
THE NEW PROPOSAL DUE DATE IS FEBRUARY 16, 2022 at 3:00 PM PACIFIC TIME. NO FURTHER EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED.
