About this file
This document provides details on food transport and food service requirements at the Center for Aging located within the VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System. The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide transportation of meals, food items, and dishware between the loading dock at the Center for Aging and the kitchen at the Tripler Army Medical Center using a vehicle. The contractor must also transport rinsed dishware and carts back to the Tripler Army Medical Center kitchen after meal service. Meals are assembled and placed into carts at the Tripler Army Medical Center kitchen before being picked up and delivered to the Center for Aging, where cold food items may be added and meals are reheated before being served in the dining room. Soiled dishes are rinsed onsite before being returned by the contractor to the Tripler Army Medical Center for cleaning and sanitization for the next meal period.
