About this file
This is a Questions & Answers (RFI responses) document for solicitation 36C26025R0014 regarding the AE Upgrade Campus Fire Alarm project in Seattle, WA. The document addresses six key questions from potential bidders, clarifying that the SF330 submission deadline has been extended to December 5, 2024, through Amendment 002.
The responses confirm that the Systems Integration Specialist and Control System Cybersecurity Specialist roles can be performed by the same individual, as can the Electrical Engineer and RCDD roles. The Fire Alarm Designer/Technician must have NICET III or ESA/NTS Certified Fire Alarm Designer Level III Fire certification. Arial 12pt font is required for graphics, tables, and charts, with some flexibility when not practicable. The document also clarifies that the Controls System Cybersecurity Specialist and System Integrator specialist roles are specifically focused on supporting Cybersecurity requirements outlined in Chapter 11 of NFPA 72 and the VA Physical Security & Resiliency Design manual.
