About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a project to remodel the upper and lower floors of Building 71 at the Veterans Affairs Roseburg, Oregon Campus. The scope includes architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and communication system improvements, with a focus on the kitchen and canteen areas. The SOW outlines the project background, objectives, design requirements, deliverables, and a detailed design review schedule. It also covers construction period services such as responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, commissioning, and providing as-built drawings.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice for a firm fixed price design contract for Architect-Engineering (A-E) services. This is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). The NAICS code is 541330 Engineering Services. Interested SDVOSB firms must submit an SF 330 Statement of Qualifications by May 17, 2024. The VA expects to award the A-E contract in late June to early July 2024, with a 225-day period of performance for completion of design.
