The purpose of this amendment is as follows:

3- Extend the deadline for quote receipt to allow for the organized site visit to be held.

See continuation pages for details.

CONTINUATION PAGE

The following is clarifying information that is being provide as Government best interest after review of the general focus of numerous questions received from industry:

There are two buildings with grease traps: B236A and B219.

B236A has two grease traps for a capacity of 2000 gallons. The approximate quantity of grease that needs pumped at each service visit is currently unknown. It is up to the contractor for means and methods (running hose, using portable vacuum, etc.). If needed, as built drawings can be provided to the contractor upon request for location of traps.

B219 assume one trap. The Government was unable to find records to confirm exact size of the trap or gallon capacity but assume that it is no larger than B236A. There are no drawings showing location of the trap so contractor will need to be verified by methods of contractor, preventing damage to VA facility.

Services are to be provided for the traps at the frequency set forward in the statement of work.

Multiple questions were received asking regarding a site visit. As a result, an optional site visit has been organized as follows:

An organized site visit has been set up for August 27, 2024, at 1300 (1pm) Pacific. Attendees shall check in at Building 229. Additional site visits are not anticipated.
