About this file

This document is an Amendment (Standard Form 30) for Solicitation Number 36C25925Q0520, a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Elevator Maintenance Services at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. The solicitation covers comprehensive elevator maintenance services with a base period from 09/05/2025 to 12/04/2025 and five subsequent one-year option periods extending through 09/04/2030. The amendment provides clarifications and answers to vendor questions, including key details such as the contractor's responsibility for the first $3,000 of repair costs for misuse incidents, requirements for monthly fire alarm tests, and guidelines for parts replacement and warranties.

The procurement is being conducted by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 19, located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Potential vendors were required to attend a mandatory site visit on July 16th and submit advance registration. The contract includes provisions for emergency repairs, overtime work, and specific maintenance responsibilities, with contractors required to provide new standard parts and guarantee major component replacements for one year and other components for 90 days. Contractors must follow local codes and complete all work at their own expense, with certain limitations on billable overtime and repair costs.
