VENDORS QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. Who was the last incumbent and what was the award, if available? No incumbent. This is a new award.
2. Is there a certain number of veterans needing housing per day? 20 Veterans (max amount).
3. Is there a minimum/maximum number of accommodation beds per day? 20 total max beds if there is one contractor. If multiple contractors, will depend on that specific award to each contractor ( e.g., 7 beds awarded to contractor A and 13 beds awarded to contractor B = total of contractor A and B is 20 total beds). In the multiple award example, Contractor A is awarded 7 beds so can only house 7 Veterans and provide case management services. Contractor B is awarded 13 beds so can only house 13 Veterans and provide case management services.
4. Should the facility need to house both male and female veterans? No. However, If the agency is able to house both males and females that would be great.
5. Once Veterans has successfully transitioned, are will they be allowed to be employed by our facility as a counselor to council other Veterans coming through the program? That is up to the contractor’s policy on hiring graduates of the program.
6. Can you tell me what the reimbursement rate is for this program? Is there a daily rate? Standard government rates apply.
7. Would this solicitation entertain the idea of Kansas City MO? No. It must be in Tulsa Oklahoma.
