36C25924Q0250 Quesons and Answers
1. I wanted to clarify whether the products are limited to the items in the schedule of supplies or if alternaves could be offered for cost savings or potenal future diagnoscs. For example, the schedule of supplies only shows Ceretec-Tc99m as an opon for brain scingraphy, and another opon, Neuorlite-Tc99m, is available with a similar price point and longer shelf life.
Answer: Neuorlite-Tc99m is an acceptable substuon.
2. Does the site also have Positron Emission Topography as an opon or would that be covered under a separate RFQ?
Answer: No, Fort Harrison VAMC does not perform Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scans.
3. Regarding the firm-fixed pricing model in the RFQ, in the event of a sudden increase in prices of either the radioacve material or reagent kit, is there a mechanism to request an alteraon of the pricing structure that can be deemed appropriate and reasonable by all pares involved?
Answer: Yes. A request for a formal contract modificaon would need to be submited to the Contracng Officer.
4. . I want to verify that the March 6th, 2024 date was only for quesons regarding the quote and narrave and not the overall due date for the narrave.
Answer: Yes, that is correct. Quotes are due by 4:00 p.m. EST on March 15th.
