About this file

This document is a brand name justification for the procurement of Stryker CORE Systems with TPX and Elite attachments by the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System. The justification seeks to procure five Stryker CORE consoles with eight TPX power tool attachments and three Elite cutting attachments as a complete orthopedic, dental, ENT, neuro and endoscopic operating room system from Stryker, the sole manufacturer and owner of the proprietary technology. Market research identified Stryker and two authorized distributors, and as capable of fulfilling the requirement. Due to Stryker's status as a large business, the procurement will not be set aside but will be conducted on an unrestricted basis to allow the two SDVOSB distributors an opportunity to quote. The anticipated cost is deemed fair and reasonable given competitive quotes will be received.
