DESCRIPTION
In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to Champion Medical Technologies dba InVita Healthcare Technologies, Inc. located at 765 Ela Rd Ste 200 Lake Zurich, IL, 60047-6305.
The George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center requires a follow-on base year, plus three (3) option year contract vehicle for a UDI Tracker System which composes of the license, maintenance and product upgrades in addition to unlimited user and customer support. The UDI tracker system has been in place at this medical facility since October 2012 and is provided by Champion Medical Technologies. This tracking system is used to track all biological and non-biological medical implants that this medical facility surgically places into Veterans in compliance with Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and Joint Commission laws and standards. Switching the program to another product would result in the loss of eight (8) years of data and the facility would fall out of compliance with Joint Commission. A letter from Champion Medical Technologies was received on 9/15/2020 stating the UDI Tracker is developed by Champion Medical Technologies and is solely distributed and delivered through Champion Medical Technologies. There are no other agents or dealers authorized to represent this product. The letter further states they are the sole vendor/supplier/distributer/provider of our software as a service solution.
The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339112 and the Business Size Standard is 1250 employees.
