The contracting action is for the acquisition and installation of three (3) Andago 2.0 Bodyweight Support Gait Trainers. The Andago 2.0 was found to be only product on the market that provides dynamic bodyweight support throughout vertical oscillation of the gait pattern and is robotically powered to follow the patient. In addition to the robotic drive feature of gait propulsion offered by the Andago 2.0, the size of the system allows the Andago 2.0 to be wheeled through doorways from one room to another, which provides for use in the inpatient, as well as outpatient units. During use it does not confine patient to specific areas, allowing movement along hallways and other selected hospital space.

Key Benefits of the Andago 2.0; a) sensory and proprioceptive feedback during the gait cycle, b) robotic propulsion assistance and vertical oscillation that reduce foot drag/drop during therapy, c) inpatient and outpatient use, d) use in tight areas, and e) beneficial treatment of acute spinal cord injuries (SCI) and acute exacerbations of SCI disorders in patients with upper extremity dysfunction.
