4. Please provide the average amount of consumables used on a monthly or annual basis.

Answer: The Government does not have the information to address this question.

5. Does the government require a technical proposal to accompany (1) Price and (2) Past Performance factors?

Answer: Information is provided in Paragraphs 1 through 12 of FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items, beginning on page 104 of the RFQ document.

6. Is there an incumbent and if so who is the incumbent, what is the current contract no. and the awarded amount annually?

Answer: No

7. In the current contract is the scope of services altered in anyway in this RFP?

Answer: N/A

8. I wanted to get confirmation that we are only providing labor and supervision to this contract, all supplies and equipment will be provided by the Government?

Answer: Reference the revised SOW, including Paragraph 6.3 attached to Amendment 1 on Contract Opportunities.

9. Per the current scope of work it states the following, are these square footages per day?

Building #1, Main Hospital (Basement, 1st through 6th Floor), 352,800 square feet Building #8, 201,275 square feet Building #34, 31,618 square feet Outer Buildings (Building #’s 2, 13, 14, 14A, 16, 20, 21, 21B, 22, 23, 23A, 24 - 29, 31 -33), 196,761 square feet

Answer: Refer to FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items, Paragraph 7 on page 104 of the RFQ. Subline items may be referenced beginning on page 23.

10. When it says 2 shifts on the buildings that have less than 10000 sq. ft. do you expect a person to be in the building all 8 hours or can they cover multiple buildings?

Answer: The Government cannot provide staffing recommendations for contractors. Reference each line item for determining the appropriate mix of labor. The Government does not anticipate dictating the appropriate labor mix. Following award of the contract, if the contractor is not meeting the requirements, and the Government believes the labor mix is a cause or contributing factor to that, it may provide its rationale to the contractor indicating that there is insufficient labor/management to meet requirements.
