Q. Is a day-porter needed for all buildings?

A. Building 80 and 90 require a day porter during scheduled hours of service the other two buildings 14 and 2 would not require a day porter. It is up to the contractor’s discretion how many staff they want to put in that position but the contractor’s staff would need to monitor and address the need for the daily trash pick-up, spills, and restroom cleaning in both buildings. Please note that traffic in either area can be higher during peak hours or lower during certain times of the day.

Q. Will all maintenance repairs be done doing normal work hours?

A. Some repairs may be required during business hours 0800am to 1630 like toilet overflowing, sink not working. Other may have to be done after regular business hours, because staff may be seeing patients in the room, examples are: ceiling tiles, patch work and paint etc.

Q. Is Routine cleanings done Monday-Friday?

A. Yes, Monday through Friday. The only cleaning that will be done on the weekend is if the contractor request to COR or designee they need to do deep cleaning, floor care, carpet shampooing, etc. any service that cannot be done during regular business hours.

Q. What is time does routine cleaning start?

A. Building 80 and 90 is Out-Patient Services, and cleaning starts at 4:30pm or 5:00pm.

Contractor is required to have not have 0staff and patients in the areas.

Building 2 and 14. They can be done once a day during business hours.

Q. What is the current contract number for this service and who is the contractor.

A. Contract # VA258-14-C-0070 Neet LLC. this information may be searched in FBO and any price related information.

Q. Will a maintenance person be needed for all buildings?

A. Maintenance person will be needed for building 80 and 90 only.

Q. What are the hours that services are to be performed for the janitorial tasks?

A. - Building 80 and 90 are considered “Outpatient Services” janitorial services are to begin at 4:30 pm local time.

-Building 2 and 14 require cleaning during normal business hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

-All schedules are subject to changes due to occupancy while patients are being seen that go past the regular business hours.

· Normal Operating hours for the VA Buildings are as follows:

· Building 80 is 0800 to 1630 Coffee Shop closes at 1745 hours each day.

· Building 90 is 0800 to 1630

A. No, this certification is not part of the requirement for award.

A. Cleaning is required for the inside and outside of windows that are in waiting room areas and includes the glass doors, the store front windows or what we call fish bowl areas. Also included are the entry way doors to the assigned buildings and all the affected windows/glass doors would require cleaning on a daily basis.

Q. What is Deep Cleaning?

A. Deep clean or cleaning that will require time and effort to disinfect and remove soil, dirt, stains that cannot be removed with normal daily cleaning. It also can include a terminal cleaning, for instance rooms that may have been contaminated by an infectious disease would require a full wipe down and cleaning to make sure there is no cross contamination.
