About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation 36C25726Q0838, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office in San Antonio, Texas. The amendment extends the response deadline from August 22, 2026 to September 2, 2026 at 10:00 AM CDT and provides revised scope of work documentation and pricing instructions.

The requirement is for 50 units of Helmer Scientific Model 402033-1 pedestals (or Helmer-compatible equivalents) designed for undercounter refrigerators (GX models), along with delivery, installation, and field service labor. The pedestals will be installed at the Dallas VA Medical Center (4500 S Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75232) in a phased approach during normal business hours. The contractor must coordinate scheduling with VA representatives, manage off-site storage prior to installation, provide a qualified Program Manager, ensure contractor service personnel maintain professional appearance with identification badges, and deliver equipment with a one-year warranty covering materials and workmanship. The revised scope clarifies that vendor installation services are required (not VA staff), eliminates the 60-day pre-delivery site survey requirement, and confirms the final quantity of 50 pedestals. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment and submit signed copies with their quotations, completing the price/cost schedule with unit prices and total amounts for the pedestals (line item 0001) and delivery/installation services (line item 0002).
