This market research notice is being conducted by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17- VA South Texas (VASTHCS) facilities.
This procurement aims to expand the inventory of Bair Paws units and accessories to support patient care across VA medical centers. Newly procured warming units must integrate seamlessly with existing workflows and support both preoperative and postoperative use as required by clinical teams.
REQUIREMENT OVERVIEW
The Contractor will supply additional 3M Bair Paws Warming Units and associated accessories to supplement current equipment at VA facilities. The Contractor shall provide all hardware, consumable accessories, and professional services to allow for seamless integration and deployment. Eligible product codes include, but may not be limited to:

The services shall be in accordance with the tasks and deliverables as described in this statement of work (SOW). The Contractor shall provide technical support for setup, calibration, and maintenance of each unit. Final acceptance will be confirmed upon receipt of all deliverables and successful turnover to the clinical team. The Contractor shall notify the local point of contact (POC) and contracting office representative (COR) of any enhancements or updates for the new units. All activities should prioritize VA interests and be appropriately coordinated. All equipment supplied must be fully compatible with current facility infrastructure.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Hardware:
i. The proposed warming units shall be 3M Bair Paws Models (875/876 or equivalent) and must be FDA-cleared as forced-air warming devices.

| d. Units should be compact, mobile (cart or wall-mountable), and suitable for use in Pre-Op, OR, PACU, and other relevant areas. |

| e. Offered models must have easily accessible controls and display readable temperatures. |
The proposed Warming Unit Wall Mounts shall be 3M Bair Paws Wall Mount Model 875/876 (or equivalent) units.

| f. The proposed wall mounts must be specifically designed and manufacturer-approved for installation with 3M Bair Paws warming units, models 875/876 (or equivalent FDA-cleared units) |
g. Wall mounts should be constructed of durable, medical-grade materials, capable of supporting the full weight of the warming unit and accessories.
h. Each wall mount must be rated to support at least 20 lbs to accommodate the warming unit and any connected accessories.
i. All necessary hardware for installation shall be provided.
j. Wall mount design must ensure stable and secure attachment to the wall, preventing accidental dislodgment, tipping, or excessive vibration during routine use.
Government will only accept USA manufactured equipment.
