About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) related to a Department of Veterans Affairs project for repairing a building envelope. The RFI addresses clarifications about deductive alternates and pricing structure, ultimately concluding that no alternates remain in the solicitation. The proposal due date is confirmed as September 4, 2025, with Amendment 0004 having provided final drawings that eliminated the need for previous alternate specifications. The solicitation (36C25725R0058) is for Project 756-22-206, managed by the Veterans Health Administration's Veterans Integrated Service Network 17, with previous amendments addressing site visit documentation, proposal deadline extensions, and responding to information requests.

Alternates & pricing structure

· Please confirm the full list of alternates (the specs note two deductive alternates and point to F6/A-001; drawings show Deduct Alternate 01 for PV). Clarify whether there is a Deduct Alternate 02 and its scope for pricing.

After further assessment of the deduct alternative, the VA will require full removal of the PV system as achievable in phases/areas.

· Need Updated “A.3 Price/Cost Schedule” to reflect Deduct Alternates.

There is no need for a revised price schedule because in Amendment 0004 the final drawings were provided that removed the need for alternates. There are no alternates in this solicitation and a revised price schedule won’t be issued. The proposal due date remains the same at September 4, 2025.
