About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for an RFI regarding operating room equipment at North Texas VA facilities. The Q&A clarifies that the project scope includes surgical lights, booms (including anesthesia booms), and video integration with cameras, but does not include insufflators. It confirms that competitive alternatives to the Stryker Connect OR Hub are acceptable, and LED monitor technology (potentially medical grade) is permitted.

The related RFI (36C25725Q0233) seeks sources to provide ceiling mounted surgical lights, anesthesia booms, equipment booms, and video integration solutions for 11 ORs and one hybrid OR room. The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 17 Network Contracting Office requires responses by January 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM CST. Responses must demonstrate capabilities under NAICS 339112 (size standard 1000 employees) and address domestic production status. The government particularly seeks information from various business categories including SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZone, and WOSB contractors.
