About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation 36C25725B0012 for the Renovation of the 1D Clinic (Project No. 671-22-157) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Regional Procurement Office West. The amendment extends the bid due date to February 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM CST and provides responses to 60 contractor questions about the renovation project.

Key details from the Q&A responses include: The project requires a full-time quality control manager, HVAC and electrical commissioning by a 3rd party, and Class IV ICRA requirements. The work involves modifying existing fire suppression, nurse call (Rauland), fire alarm (Edwards), security, CCTV, telecommunications, and HVAC control systems. The contractor must obtain various permits and relocate laser equipment from Room D102 to D109. Regular working hours of 7:00am-4:30pm are permitted, no phasing is required, and the entire project area will be available. The VA will handle furniture requirements separately. No hazardous materials are currently identified but procedures are specified if any are encountered during construction.
