QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES

Question:

There is a new corporate entity. Is it permissible to have our references come from a blend of our previous two operating companies?

Response:

Yes, please provide copies of the novation agreements, if applicable, with your offer.

Question:

Regarding references, would non-government contracts be permissible as a reference? Response:

Yes.

Question:

Our traveling field technicians are in place and are qualified; however, it is our intent to hire local technicians upon award. We do not currently have documentation for those future local technicians. Is there a provision where that documentation can be submitted prior to the commencement of service?

Response:

Offerors must provide documentation that shows the firm’s field technician(s) have the qualifications and have completed B. Braun technical training with their offer (instructions to offerors). Contractor employees are required to attend a pre-work orientation meeting prior to the commencement of work (Statement of Work, Paragraph 13). The services start date on the new contract will be effective on 9/20/2024. A provision for extending the services start date of 9/20/2024 will not be allowed. Field technician(s) of the awarded firm must be qualified and can provide their training documentation when providing services to the STVHCS on or after 9/20/2024.

Question:

We would like to know if this is a brand new contract or if there is/was an incumbent performing these services. If not brand new, could you provide the current/previous contract number?

Response:

The services are currently being provided under contract number 36C25719P1536.
