About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for fire alarm inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair services at Department of Veterans Affairs facilities in San Antonio, Texas. Key details include that the amendment provides answers to vendor questions on site visits, including clarifying that daily reports are required, repairs will be quoted and approved by VA, elevator testing will require coordination with the VA elevator contractor, and most but not all devices are already barcoded. The related federal contract opportunity is for inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm and suppression systems at the Audie Murphy VA Medical Center and associated sites, with a response date of July 24, 2023. The amendment deletes redundant CLINs and clarifies contractor responsibilities for temporary life safety measures and education required to address deficiencies.
