Questions and Answers

1. Solicitation requests Cat model C18 and 250 kW, however the C18 is not offered at 250kW.

What is the desired output in kW and Voltage? Is an alternative Cat model acceptable?

Should be mutlivolt. 250 kW 480/277V, 208/12V, 240/120v 3 Phase

The model C18 is a typo it’s supposed to be C7.1

2. Project requirements line item z. says “two-axle, air-ride chassis with anti-lock brake system”. Is the intent for this product to be trailer mounted and mobile/portable?

Trailer Mounted, Mobile

3. Are you looking for a 250kW or 250 kVA. Cat does not carry a 250kW generator just the 200kW and 300kW.

Standby 200 kW, 250 kVA Prime 182 kW, 228 kVA

4. Spec calls for a 2000A breaker (not necessary for a 250kw/480V build)

6. Is CIP a must on the alternator or no?
